Our Story
We are a group of Swahili natives from Tanzania, currently living in Canada. We created SwahiliKIDS to promote our culture, preserve our identity and honor our heritage.
Our goal is to help mitigate cultural and literacy barriers for parents, educators and children. Many parents from Swahili speaking countries would like to pass on the language to their children but they are hindered by lack of learning resources. SwahiliKIDS is here to address those barriers through providing free, fun and easy Swahili learning resources accessible at a click of a button.
Our experience living in Canada has highlighted the importance of childhood literacy and intercultural education. We want to equip children with the tools and skills they need to become self-confident and highly motivated life long learners.
If you are interested in supporting our vision for creating a young generation of global citizens, please join our SwahiliKIDS community.
